How we Make Pumpkin Seed Oil
The Pumpkin House Pumpkin Seed Oil is premium and artisan.
To produce this high-quality oil, we start right back at the beginning.  To grow a perfect styrian pumpkin seed, the soil, weather, temperature and environment has to be just right. That’s why we only used seeds grown in Slovenia. The conditions in Slovenia (unlike many other parts of the world) are just right to produce highly nutritious and full flavoured seeds and oils.  The soil naturally has just the right amount of zinc, magnesium and all other minerals to produce a perfect pumpkin seed. Did you know that to successfully grow Styrian pumpkin seeds in other parts of the world, the soil has to be supplemented with many chemicals and minerals.  We don’t want that, that’s why we only use pumpkins grown in Slovenia. These special pumpkins have been growing in the same area that Slovenia now occupies for thousands of years.
So, to make The Pumpkin House pumpkin seed oil, we start with the best styrian pumpkins. The pumpkins, once grown are hand harvested with much love and care.  The seeds are removed from the pumpkins, washed, de-hulled, dried and traditionally pressed in our family-owned mill. This farm and mill has been owned and operated by the same family for more than 150 years.  Once pressed our pumpkin seed oil is bottled in airtight, opaque bottles to lock the goodness in.
We take the very best pumpkin seed oil from Slovenia and bring it over here to Australia, for you.
